A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I have been woodworking for a few years now. I started off doing little projects around the house. Building things for friends and just recreating things I saw on Pinterest or at a store. I was drawn to the joy of creating things with my own two hands. I didn’t grow up around a lot of woodworkers. My dad and I dabbled in building birdhouses and my grandpa was always up for handmaking something crazy I thought up.

Once we bought our first house I fell in love with DIYing all that I could. Redoing bathrooms. Creating accent walls. Making my own furniture. Basically creating anything I could by myself and not paying for a lower quality item from a box store. By this time I was working a 50 hour a week job. I had two kids in diapers and we were transitioning into a new house. But every chance I could I was working on some sort of project.

My goal with La Casita Home Design is to create unique and functional furniture and spaces for each client. I don’t just build things to sell I want to offer my abilities to come in and create spaces, in your home, that you love.
